President Biden Establishes White House Office for Gun Violence Prevention

President Joseph Bden is establishing a new gun violence prevention office. This new office is set to be in the White House. It will implement the already existing gun safety laws.
The office will also work with the local authorities to look into the execution of gun safety laws at the state level. This information comes from the statement by officials delivered on Thursday.
This office in question will be under the administration of Vice President Kamala Harris. Under her leadership, gun safety advocates will function to carry out a smooth admission process. The advocates will be joining the administration.
All of this information is according to a conference call that the press had with the White House officials.
“I’ll continue to urge Congress to take common-sense actions that the majority of Americans support, like enacting universal background checks and banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines,” said Joe Biden, a Democrat and the President of the United States.
“But in the absence of that sorely-needed action, the Office of Gun Violence Prevention along with the rest of my Administration will continue to do everything it can to combat the epidemic of gun violence that is tearing our families, our communities, and our country apart,” Biden added in the statement by the White House.
President Biden and Vice President Harris are set to discuss the matter according to their remarks in the White House Rose Garden. This matter will take place on Friday at 2:45 p.m. EDT.
