What We’re Looking For
– Original articles related to our core topics: Legal Concepts, Find a Lawyer, Tech & Career, Consumer Alert & Settlement, and International Law
– Content that’s accurate, well-sourced, and cites primary sources (statutes, court records, official guidance) where relevant
– A clear, practical writing style that explains legal topics without unnecessary jargon
– Pieces from writers with relevant background – practicing or former legal professionals, legal researchers, paralegals, journalists covering law, or subject-matter experts in adjacent fields like employment or consumer protection
Given the nature of legal topics, we may ask about your background or relevant experience before publishing, particularly for higher-stakes subject matter.
What We Don’t Accept
– Content submitted primarily to secure a backlink, with the article itself as an afterthought
– Previously published or duplicate content
– Promotional content disguised as editorial (if you’re writing on behalf of a firm or business, let us know upfront – we handle that differently)
– AI-generated content submitted without meaningful human research, editing, or expertise behind it
How It Works
Submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. We may request edits before publishing, and we retain final discretion over what runs on the site. Author bylines are included, and where relevant, we note the author’s background or credentials alongside the piece.
Links within submitted content are evaluated case by case and are not guaranteed or automatically included – content quality is the basis for acceptance, not link placement.
